According to an article from the Associate Press, “More than one in seven American households struggled to put enough food on the table in 2008, the highest rate since the Agriculture Department began tracking food security levels in 1995.” It also stated that, “The report also showed an increasing number of children in the United States are suffering. In 2008, 16.7 million children were classified as not having enough food, 4.3 million more than in 2007.”

Relentless Media Productions wanted to do their part to help and have donated canned food to the Poplar Bluff area Boy Scouts Can Food Drive. The food drop off location is at Adkins Chiropractic in Poplar Bluff. Dr. Ben Adkins had made mention that the largest donation as of Monday, November 16, 2009 was 75 cans. Relentless wanted to up the ante and donated 80 cans and challenged other businesses to beat them by donating more. The goal is 10,000 cans during this food drive.
