Pixel Pointers

A thought from web designer Matt Miller: “99.9% of the time, your logo does not need to be bigger, but I’m sorry you feel that way.”

Although Matt loves sarcasm, the point he is trying to make is that sometimes you have to trust the designer to know what will look best. Whether it is print, web or video, you do not always have to have your logo front and center and larger than anything else on the page. In fact, the negative space around a logo can actually draw attention to it better than a larger logo. Also, consumers today are more educated, and they don’t necessarily succumb to appeals or gimmicks like large or flashy logos. You may think we sound crazy, but trust us to be your advocate; we promise to always have your best interests in mind.
